Protecting yourself against negative spirits and attachments should be part of your wellness plan.

Chillingly, over 97% of people and their environment are extremely prone to negative entity attachments, especially among young children, lightworkers, healers, and their homes and/or businesses. Folks that are chronically ill (whether mental or physical) are also more vulnerable.

Here are some spiritual protection suggestions for you

  1. Keep your spirit and aura health. Your aura is your natural psychic protection. Our auric field is what separates us from others and it works to help identity who we are as individuals. It also acts as our first line of defense – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It helps us to be clear about who we are, what we think, and how we feel.

It will change from time to time depending on your current status and surroundings. An aura that is strong is difficult to battle, so this is your first defense against difficult anomalies.

  2. Practice daily meditation. There is no better way to be in touch and protect your inner self and build a strong and more balanced spirit than to meditate, even for a few minutes, every day.

  3. In between, empower your mind and think positive thoughts. People who continuously think with negative thoughts or live in a constant state of fear, facilitate bad spirits to control them. In addition, people with an altered mind (high or intoxicated) or are emotionally depressed or physically ill will also have fewer defenses against evil beings. Negative entities are more likely to avoid confident and happy people who emit positive energy.

  4. Fill the air with the protection from Sage, Copal, or Tibetan incense. If you feel that you need it, burn. Many folks do it daily to help clear your aura and any negativity or stress that has been collected during the day.

  5. There are ancient stones that will ward off negative energies. These include black tourmaline, celestite, citrine, smoky quartz, quartz, peacock ore, black kyanite, black onyx, black obsidian, elestial crystals, jet, katanganite, and kunzite.

  6. Use these gems that help you with angelic communication and protection. These include, aquamarine, blue lace agate, amethyst flowers, selenite, angelite, danburite, moonstone, morganite, and muscovite.

  7. Hang rowan and St. John Wort over all your doorways to keep out evil ghosts. In addition Jimson weed, Angelica and nettle are also amazing for protecting against them. A bag of protective herbs can be made with a small amount of cinnamon, five-finger grass, ague weed, and sage. Place them in a pouch to put on door thresholds or carry with you for spectral protection.

  8. Clear old self-generated curses towards anyone or anything. Forgive old grudges and release any negative energy you may have. When you wish something bad on someone else, your inner negative energy resonates with your own. By removing these negative thoughts about others, you will attract more positive forces and divine light to you.

  9. Envision a white light surrounding you from head to toe. The white light is protection, as you have crafted it, will protect you against danger or harm.

  10. Grow rosemary in your yard. Keep a sprig of it in your pocket, or even hand a wreath on your door. In ancient Greece, people burned rosemary in shrines to repel evil spirits and keep illness at bay.

  11. When the situation or your instincts determine that you need help or would simply like to protect your home spiritually, consider contacting a spiritual professional, such as a Priest, Minister of a Native American Shaman.

  12. If you feel comfortable with Christian Spirituality, consider praying. The prayer to Archangel Michael is one of the most powerful protections against demonic forces. it is usually recited by exorcists, mediums, and those who regularly deal with malevolent spirits.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snare of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Oh Prince of the Heavenly Host, by God's power, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
  13. The most important tip in keeping malevolent spirits away is not to invite them into your space or life. People who use gateways such as Ouija Boards are said to be more susceptible to bringing in negative spirits. If this is a preferred communication method, make sure to use any of the protective tips offered above.

It is important to realize that real protection comes from being an empowered individual on an energetic level. This is what is referred to as being whole in spirit.

These suggestions are not a replacement for responsible action you should take using good research and common sense. Please consider these as preliminary first steps, and follow them with advice from practitioners in the field that you trust and follow.
