Ashmore, IL is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Ashmore Estates. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
Ashmore was built in 1916 and used initially as an almshouse (sometimes called a poor farm). It continued to operate until it was purchased in 1959 for use as a private psychiatric care center.
