Chicago, IL is home to one of the most haunted eateries in the nation, Red Lion Pub. Come Explore its spooky menu and other offerings with Haunted Journeys.
Located on the North side of Chicago, the Red Lion Inn, is what many would call a very spooky English style pub and it's right across the street from the theater where John Dillinger was ambushed and killed by federal agents. In 1984 it was converted to a pub, from an apartment dwelling.
This tavern is to be haunted by several ghosts. One of the spirits is that of a young woman who signals her presence with a strong scent of lavender. An apparition of a man wearing cowboy clothes has been seen walking along the main bar. Others have witnessed both a blonde man and a gentleman with a beard wearing a black cowboy hat.
