Portsmouth, NH is home to one of the most haunted eateries in the nation, Ri Ra Irish Pub. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
The building was originally The New Hampshire Bank and was built in 1803. It is the oldest bank building in The United States. When the Portsmouth Savings Bank opened in 1904 and incorporated the saloon next door, it included a huge glass dome of the Great Seal of New Hampshire. This remains the focal point for the Rí Rá since it opened in 2009. The building(s) were admitted to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The hauntings here include an apparition witnessed walking in and out of the original old bank vault.
