This lovely Victorian is located in the Old Louisville, one of the city's most historic districts. It was constructed in 1884 by Vernon D. Price, a Louisville businessman and co-founder of Price and Lucas Vinegar Manufacturing Company. He was a prominent business leader in Louisville during the mid-nineteenth century.
There have been several ghost sightings in the Central Park district of Old Louisville. It is beautiful now, but at one time, there was a tuberculosis epidemic. Many residents died and homes were burned to prevent the spread of the disease. People have seen apparitions wandering the streets and into houses in Victorian clothing.
