History

Bryan, OH is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Father John's Micro-Brewery. Come Explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.

The History

As a former Methodist/Episcopal church, this haunted property was built on a former graveyard. Today the spirits live with spirits since it is now is an active pub/microbrewery. The current owner bought it to save the place from demolition, turning it into a brewery. He filled the entire place with spiritual and religious artifacts from different cultures around the world. The decor is a mix of all religions and has a bit of a haunted, eerie feel. There is even a Crypt Room with a suspended, floating cross table and a glass-covered tomb complete with coffin underneath it. The garden out back is really special with giant circular saw blades as tables, carved log bar stools, more coffins, a Tibetan shrine and even a tiny child's gravestone embedded in the garden's cobblestone brick wall. The gravestone was uncovered during the excavation of the garden, but don't worry, it was not from a real grave and there were no remains unearthed.

The Hauntings

Who knows what kind of energy each item holds! This place also features an adjoining haunted Bed and Breakfast, said to be inhabited with the spirit of a woman and a little girl. There is an actual tomb, complete with a casket. Father John's Brewery was also featured in the World's Largest Ghost Hunt in 2017 and 2018 http://www.nationalghosthuntingday.com/
