The Historic Lookout House is located just outside of Gettysburg and was built in 1838. When the Confederate army approached Gettysburg, they pillaged the tannery that was across the street then proceeded to the Lookout House to pillage apples. Confederate soldiers stayed in the attic and camped on the property before the Battle of Gettysburg.
Explore all the rooms, from the wine cellar to the Victorian library, and the Widows-Walk. An old schoolhouse is also on the property, along with many outbuildings.
