New Orleans, LA is home to one of the most haunted eateries in the nation, Arnaud's Restaurant. Come Explore its menu and other offerings with Haunted Journeys.
Arnauld's Restaurant was founded by a colorful French wine salesman named Arnaud Cazenave. Arnaud's recently celebrated 80 years of serving New Orleans families and visitors the most exquisite cuisine in a classic atmosphere that speaks of Old World grandeur and a simpler time.
One of the most active ghostly inhabitants is the spirit of Count Arnaud himself. He is said to occasionally preside over the main dining room, dressed in a formal black tuxedo. Cazenave, whom most New Orleanians came to call Count Arnaud, was said to be very particular for grand French-influenced service. He most likely attempts to maintain these standards today, overseeing the staff and their actions. If silverware and napkins are not set to his liking staff says he has no qualms about moving them; If he does not like the set up at the bar, he will rearrange it until he does.
In addition, there is another spectral guest who's apparition presents as a well-dressed woman who crosses the dining room and heads through a wall. Could he be in search of a now-walled-over staircase?
