Putnam, CT is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Bradley Playhouse. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
Ransom Bradley built the Bradley Playhouse, which was completed in 1901. It has been known by various names throughout its history. In 1937, a short circuit caused a fire, which soon became an enormous blaze. Luckily, an asbestos curtain dropped, and the fire was contained to the stage area.
The ghostly activity here centers around a spirit by the name of Victoria. Her presence has been noted in the balcony, as well as on stage, backstage, and even in the basement.
The TV show Ghost Hunters filmed an episode here in 2005.
