Lake City IA is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
It was designed by Des Moines engineer James Barney Marsh in his patented rainbow arch configuration and constructed in 1914. The bridge was replaced in 1985 but remains in place in a county park.
Spirits are as different as people here on earth. Locals say if you leave a wrapped chocolate bar on the bridge, the chocolate will disappear, but the wrapper is untouched.
