Gettysburg, PA is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Haunted Trails Of Gettysburg. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
The farmhouse was built in the 1820s and expanded in the 1930s. During the Civil War, it was a Confederate Field Camp and the location of 3 Confederate Field Hospitals. Many artifacts have been found on the property such as flasks, eating utensils, buttons, belt buckles and more. There is also evidence that Native Americans inhabited this land. Arrowheads and mounds have been found on the property.
While walking the trail, people have reported seeing shadow figures and hearing disembodied whispers. Some get the feeling of being watched and even touched. In addition to the eight acres in these haunted trails, they have added a haunted cellar, favored by the presence of the spirits that call this their home.
For events, guests gather after the ghost hunt and sit around a camp fire-pit to exchange the stories of what was experienced that night. What a warm and friendly way to end a most chilling and yet unforgettable time. Gettysburg Confederate Camp was featured on the 2018 and 2019 World's Largest Ghost Hunt.http://www.nationalghosthuntingday.com/
