Drumheller, Alberta is home to one of the most haunted places in the territory, Johnston House. Come Explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
The heritage home was built by Dr. Robert Johnston. He was a prominent Drumheller dentist who died in the home in 1936. He was 45 years old. He was getting ready for a hunting trip with friends when his 16-gauge rifle went off, killing him instantly. A few years later his teenage daughter, Marjorie, died of a blood infection, though its origin was never determined.
Over the years, those who’ve lived in the house have reported unusual occurrences, from the sounds of creaking floorboards, disembodied footsteps, scarcely heard whispers, doors opening/closing on their own and even sightings of an apparition of a young girl. This property was featured on the 2018's ""World's Largest Ghost Hunt" http://www.nationalghosthuntingday.com/
