Silver City, NV is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Donovan Mill. Come Explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.
Historically, the Donovan Mill was the first cyanide process mill established on the Comstock, and opened the way for the great technological revolution in metallurgy. It is also documented that at one time there was a suicide in one of its rooms.
It's haunted responses and evidence is impressive. Audio recorders have picked up several digital EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). One time, it recorded in the office is the most distinct. There's no one in the building. You can hear some of the investigators talking outside, when all of a sudden a woman's disembodied voice tell us to "Run". Glow images appear in some of the rooms, accompanied by loud noises (perhaps from the old mill) that come from inoperable equipment.
The mill played a significant role in mining history, and the Comstock Foundation has plans to preserve, restore and open it to the public. For this reason, this property was featured in the 2018's "World's Largest Ghost Hunt" as investigated by Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters.
