Palmyra, NY is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, Palmyra Museum Phelps General Store Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.


A 23 room old hotel, tavern, and boarding house built in 1826 with addition in 1898. Each room depicts historic artifacts from 3 military rooms, Doctor's room, dolls, and toy rooms, a kitchen room, a photographer room, and more. Civil War artifacts, murals, and items from 1790 to 2000 are featured in each room. dedicated to parts of local, state, and national history.


This old building was moved to the site of a fatal fire in 1964 killing 7 family members 6 of them children from 2 years old to 8 years as well as their mother only 25 years old. Their spirits remain in the museum to date with many others served and visiting this site.
