Linesville, PA is home to one of the most haunted places in the state, The Knickerbocker Hotel. Come explore its mystery with Haunted Journeys.


With a history that goes back 130 years, The Knickerbocker has an interesting story. The original owners, Milo and Clara Arnold built the establishment and called it the Arnold House, Mrs. Arnold, inherited the land from her second husband (Milo was number three). The hotel opened in 1882 and a grand gala was held to welcome people to the hotel, restaurant, entertainment lounge, and family residence. The current owners purchased it in 2005 and have been restoring it to its former grandeur.


The Knickerbocker has a long history of paranormal activity and it's not your average hotel. You can spend the night here, but you won't sleep.  

The spirits that are said to be here include Clara Arnold died of tuberculosis just three years after the Arnold House opened at the age of 37. A small child has been seen in the basement and a shadow figure was caught on infrared video on the third-floor hallway and stairs. 

The Knickerbocker Hotel has been featured on multiple paranormal programs such as A&E's Paranormal State, The Bio Channel's My Ghost story and The Resident Undead. Several paranormal teams and experienced investigators have visited the Knickerbocker including the paranormal legend, Lorraine Warren.
